Tomorrow

I personally love these kind of books so I really enjoyed Tomorrow’s End.

Tomorrow

Overall, it is a very deep read and there were a couple of times when I had to reread a certain page to fully understand the inner context Morris has hidden within the text.

Tomorrow

It is quite a task really considering the plot keeps jumping back and forth, but yet again the author nails it. Morris has put a lot of time developing the plot. These are the things that so many indie writers fail to make right, yet when it comes to ‘Tomorrow’s end’ those things are taken care of brilliantly! I cannot stress enough how strongly I enjoyed the use of language, the dialogues and character description in this book. I absolutely love the level of detailing when describing the plot. Of course the aliens do make the story more dramatic and vivid, but even if the invaders were not a part of the plot, the book would still remain a very strong piece. Overall this is a very dark read that challenges and criticizes the dogmas, the ‘norms’ of the 70s, and to me personally the sci-fi element seemed not so essential. I love how the book pre-sets your mood with amazing drawings at the very start. Until a scaly, trench-coat-clad alien appears and gives him a glimpse into the true nature of all things.Īstounded, Kevin learns the world he knows is merely an illusion created by alien beings who control humanity's every move. But when tragedy upends his life and demonic forces steal his soul, the fate of time and space are sealed. Kevin Knight never wanted to be the one to save the galaxy. He never asked to be a hero, but the universe didn't give him a choice.
